Freescale - Low-End Processors - for industrial multimedia - 27 July 2012

Freescale adds low end processors to i.MX 6 family for industrial multimedia.

The i.MX 6SoloLite processor and the dual-core i.MX 6DualLite product, both processors incorporate ARM Cortex-A9 cores and E Ink controllers.

The i.MX 6 processor support a range of popular operating systems, including Android Version 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), Linux, QNX, Ubuntu and Windows Compact 7 with reference designs, software and turnkey development technologies that simplify system design.
